Bear Creek Lake Park

Thank-you all 250 volunteers for coming out to Bear Creek Lake Park in
Lakewood on Saturday, July 12, 2008. We had perfect weather and a
perfect day for our Pulling For Colorado premier event.
|
|
|
|
|
VOC handled the registration and organized the crew leaders.
|
|
|
Over 250 people participated.
|
|
|
Julie and Ben helped make all the fun happen.
Tom McClure, USFS Invasive Species Coordinator pulled everyone
together.

The kids area had lots of fun activities.
|
|
|
Erik Nielson, City of Lakewood, and crew made all the logistics come
together.

Margaret Paget, City of Wheat Ridge chaired the event. Elizabeth
Brown, CO Aquatic Nusiance Species Coordinator was part of the Steering
Committee.

92 bags of noxious weeds were collected! WOW!!!
