DuPont Land Management - Northern Colorado Field Tour 

August 19 - 21 (Tuesday - Thursday)

 

John Cantlon, DuPont Government Resource Manager, will host a field tour to review herbicide efficacy on key invasive species found in Northern Colorado .  This will be a "Rolling Tour" providing current research plots and open discussion on weed control solutions. * We will hit areas around Minturn, Rifle, Craig, Steamboat, Fort Collins and Denver .

 

We will be over night in Steamboat and Fort Collins . You can take in the whole tour or pick up on any part of the tour. * Times and locations will be supplied shortly for your planning purposes.

Invited guests will include County, State and Federal agency personnel managing invasive and problem weeds from the immediate area and other with regional or national responsibilities. University personnel are being invited as participants at this time.

 

Objectives:

Review new DuPont chemistry of DuPont KJM44 and Rimsulfuron plus performance results of existing herbicides.

Key pest targets treated:

Cheatgrass, leafy spurge, Canada Thistle, halogeton, yellow & Dalmation toadflax, alyssum, rabbitbrush, salt cedar, Russian olive, Russian knapweed, Scotch thistle and native grass tolerance studies.
